His father is watching.......and that's me  :baeh:

  4. This is my father scared for his life in my car.....you can't stop the inevitable need for power!

  5. Does it just look like this or are the tyres really smaller than the rims?

  6.

  7. When on track, the tyres generate a lot of heat. So its advisable to drop tyre pressure from whatever you normally run i.e. 30psi to maybe 22-24psi. Then when you rag the tits out of your car, the tyre pressure will normally raise back to your usual tyre pressure.

So the reason the tyres looks small is because I am throwing the car into the corners hard and the tyres are fighting to stay on the rim

But those wheels were only cheap to use on the Ring, I've now sold them. I normally run on my Group A 18" RL7's ;)

  8. Had my wheels re-powdercoated as they started to look a little tatty. Then replaced the Ford Racing boost gauge with a Stack one (which we all know is exactly the same gauge ), at least the dash all matches now :)

  9. nice! look almost at RC

with Stack you can replay rev. Right?
play it back at your instrument.

  10. What do you mean?

  11. with a stack you can playback a piece of time you drove!

there is a bottun to push? and then he playback the last drive. you can see the rev's back again.

    now you understand it?

  12. Ah gotchya, I see  Oh yes, the ST700 can record your 0-60mph time, 1/4 mile and hill climb timing. Its a very clever piece of kit :)

  13. nice tip he?

  14. Its not a tip mate, I knew all that, just didn't understand what you wrote down  Had this dash in the car since 2007 ;)

  15. Ventured down to SCS to do the obligatory Ford Fair prep and they were busy finishing Steve Punton's build. What a machine, 670bhp and a nice 6 speed Elite box among loads of other neat bits (and my spare diff ). Such a cool car! Some pics of Jimbo's motor and mine through the bufty stages before abuse on track

(Sorry about pic quality, crap phone!)

Ripped out the last of the carpet, just got too annoying. Took the grinder to the floor to get any surface rust up (none really) and threw some rust eating sealer in typical spots and painted. Rubbish pics, but it does look good in real life. Will leave it for a few days before I get time to throw seats back in.

Marc Kinsey's kindly making me some nice rally style foot rests to put in it, similar to what he made in his Fiesta. Good egg! :top:

Marc Kinsey aka Kinzy Motorsport kindly knocked me up some nice alloy footrests, which now has some grip tape attached to them. Top job matey and very quickly done, thanks again! :top:
